Oh boy, we had an amazing time in Italy. Now its little bit easier to be back in chilly Finland.. 

But hey what happened to those warm finnish summerdays? Thats the question..

Tänään aloitan mun tän kesän miniloman. 7 päivää lämmössä ilman työn tai vastuun häivääkään! Me likes big time!

Kesän kuumin päivä

Viime maanantaina heräsimme aikaisin, hyppäsimme autoon ja matkustimme Uuteenkaupunkiin vakaana pyrkimyksenämme viettää vapaapäivä merillä. Päivä oli ihan täydellinen ja sai mut vakuuttumaan entisestään siitä että sieluni lepää paattien kyydissä, mieluummin merillä! Kuvailin päivän aikana ihastuksissani ympäröivää merimaisemaa ja ajatuksena on jakaa lisää tuon ikimuistoisen seiloripäivän kuvia myöhemmin täällä blogissa. Tuossa ylhäällä muutama maistiainen kutkuttelemaan uteliaisuudennälkäänne. 

We spent perfect day-off seaside in Uusikaupunki. I got once again reminded about the fact that I really need vitamin sea!

Welcome to August!

Taas on kesä kulunut hirmuisella draivilla ja näin heinäkuun vaihtuessa elokuuksi aletaan kiistellä siitä koska se kesä oikein loppuu. Itse oon päättänyt että kesä loppuu tänä vuonna 1.lokakuuta sillä meikäläinen pitää kesälomansa vasta syyskuussa. Vielä on siis museotyötä jäljellä kuukauden päivät jonka jälkeen alkaa ihana ja ansaittu palkallinen loma. Ja yhtään ei haittaa vaikka helle helpottaisi ja illat alkaisivat pimenemään, sillä olen viimeisen päälle syksyihminen jonka mielestä elo-syyskuu on ihmisen parasta aikaa, ainakin Suomessa.

Veneet ja veneily purjehtiminen on jotain minkä perään alan haikailla aina näin keväisin. Kai se on joku illuusio veneilyn purjehtimisen autuudesta ja onnesta. Olispa ihanaa omistaa purjevene, millä voisi vapaasti lipua paikasta toiseen. Joskus vuosia sitten asuin hetken Norjassa ja pääsin ikimuistoiselle reissulle Pohjois-Norjan saaristoon. Oltiin vesillä 3 päivää ja 3 yötä ja oli pojat meinaan kaunista!

Ens kesänä haluaisin pitkästä aikaa istahtaa paattiin ja antaa virran viedä. Voi kunpa ei jäis vaan haaveeksi tai edes yhteen kertaan..

Dear God, I have a little dream. I would really love to go sailing during next summer. Would you make it happen for me?
